October Service Project

Dear Sisters,

For a Community Service Project we are, for the Month of October, taking up a collection of items that are needed for the Battered Women Shelter here in M'boro. Itasca Liddell took them some of the women's clothing that was left over from the Clothes Fair and they were SO grateful to get them. They mentioned that they are in need of bras and panties.
So for the month of Oct. we are asking that you bring either used and/or new bras and new, still in the package panties. (Any size). We will have a box available to collect them in by next Sunday.

Preparedness Fair....A SUCCESS!!!

Thank you to all who helped with the Preparedness Fair this weekend. Your work and efforts showed.



There were many clothes left that were taken to the local Women's Shelter, or to Goodwill.






We found out that the Women's Shelter is in need of underwear for the ladies who utilize its services. We have taken on the challenge to provide. :D

The food storage samples were delicious!




The kids even got to help out. They stuffed teddy bears to give to the children at the women's shelter....aren't they cute?!
